Yay! I am in the market for a nonstick. At last! Now, would you ladies kindly share if you have a nonstick skillet, which one it is and if you recommend it? I am utterly lost. I guess I also need a silicone spatula to use with it. -Any opinions on those would be dandy too. Hugs all around! Thanks in advance. ;D

I am wondering this too. I did some looking and finally settled on one Tramontina porcelain enamel. I hope it performs well. I pick it up tomorrow from an online order, so we will see. I would love to know what mamas are already enjoying.

I got the Orgreenic from Walmart and a silicone spoon/spatula and I LOVE them. I have used cast iron for years and really enjoy it. But, wow, to cook something with NO sticking is awesome. No matter how seasoned my cadt iron pans were I still had a hard time with sticking, especially eggs.

iv used pampered chefs for years, i have the life time warranty ones, there pricier but every few years i get a new one for free because of the warranty, i just got a spatula from longaberger, that also was a little pricier, but by far the best one i have ever had!

Yes, Joanna - I know with some things, its better to pay for quality!! I am pretty impressed with all I have heard about the Orgreenic pans too, though. Hmmm, quick gratification and Wonder Wraps NOW... Or be smart and wait a little longer and save? Oh, what a hard choice! Thank you all for sharing. :-)

No matter how seasoned my cadt iron pans were I still had a hard time with sticking, especially eggs. The key to cast iron is to use a really low heat. I put my burner on 2 and often have to turn it down to 1.5 and it's seasoned with coconut oil or butter. Otherwise I use a bit of water if I'm trying to avoid fat.

Cool tip ma2girls! I've avoided cast iron with E meals up to now, figuring it would have to add a substantial amount of fat. Maybe I'll try adding water. I'm leaning toward the green life skillet after all the reviews I've read about the other choices on amazon.

I did some research and especially looked at reviews and ended up ordering the twin set of these frying pans (Not pictured here now.. weird) www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dgarden&field-keywords=zwillings+henckels+spirit&rh=n%3A1055398%2Ck%3Azwillings+henckels+spiritI was willing to spend a little more to get something that I didn't have to worry about scraping off easily or over heating. It is a ceramic coating. I LOVE LOVE them so far and have been worth every penny! I use them about 3 times a day (basically every meal!) and have a bamboo turner that I prefer and a OXO brand spatula for larger things. I dont turn my burner above 6 (middle heat) and these are oven safe up to 500 degrees.. which I Havent tried yet. Basically, they are amazing and I can even make pancakes with NO oil or butter.

Bought a big frying pan with lid from Target. The brand is Ture Green and I love it! Cost about $40.

There are a lot of green non-stick pans for cheap at TJ Maxx/ Marshalls/ Ross. I picked up a small one at TJ Maxx the other day and it's great. It is a pretty bright orange and an Italian brand- Ipac.

Wondering about the health safety of the non-stick surface? I have stayed away from non-stick pans for years due to this concern. Are these that have been discussed safe or am I going to be getting unwanted chemicals in my food? Thanks for the help?
