I guess this question is to be mostly directed at Pearl, but anyone who knows can please certainly chime in.
I finally got to reading the hormone chapters in the book and am thinking of getting my levels checked. I have a vary long cycle (38-45 days) and was wondering when you consider day 1 of your cycle. Is it the first day of your period or your first day after your period? I usually count first day of but wanted to make sure we were on the same page.
Sorry for the ignorance.

I have always heard that day one is the first day of the period. That is what is taught in NFP, at least.
