I just want to be sure I understand this. Let's say I eat lunch at 1pm and usually eat dinner at 430 (yep I know but dh likes a dinner when he gets home) maybe 5pm.
So can I eat a few kale chips, or a couple bites of some FP snack between if tea or a cup of black coffee will not hold me over? I obviously don't have enough time for a full snack.
What are your thoughts?

Yes, a FP snack is great. And it doesn't have to be jut a few bites. If you're not switching b/n S and E you could have any snack you wanted, as long as it matched. For instance, you could have a handful of nuts or something if you're having S for both lunch and dinner.
