I am wondering if anyone has any idea of an alternative to Dorothy Lynch salad dressing. I make my own now...here is the recipe: sherigraham.com/dorothy-lynch-salad-dressingBut this uses sugar and salad oil...I'd love to be able to use stevia and olive oil. Any ideas of how to make this type of dressing "on plan"? My husband will eat a big salad for lunch at work but will only eat Dorothy Lynch dressing. He hates Ranch and any vinegar based dressing. Help! Thanks so much!

Are you using Truvia or Nunaturals? Just change out the oil, equal parts. It might taste slightly different but probably not much. If this is an emulsified recipe (the oil doesn't separate like a vinegarette), you could use coconut oil instead and just add a bit of hot water to the blender or make sure it's melted first. As for the sugar, if you are using truvia, here is a handy conversion chart from their website: www.truvia.com/recipes/conversion_chart It will take a bit over 1/3 c truvia (expensive unless you are making your own from healthyindulgences.net/2012/02/truvia-sweetener-review-how-to-make-your-own-truvia-substitute-in-bulk-much-cheaper/ If you are using Nunaturals, your best bet is the shake, taste, shake method. Be careful and go slow so it doesn't get too sweet.
