Hello,
I just finished your book and enjoyed it very much. I'm 52 and battling squamous cell carcinoma for nearly three years now. My daughter discovered Trim Healthy Mama last summer and introduced me to it by making me delicious drinks that made me feel so good. I was especially impressed by the Singing Canary with the turmeric and high dose vitamin C for boosting my immune system. I bought the book for the drinks and the dietary guidelines fit my no sugar and low blood sugar lifestyle. I am not someone who enjoys cooking or being busy in the kitchen but as I read the recipes, I thought that maybe even I could do them. I was disappointed not to find more drink recipes in the book. When I asked my daughter about this she said to look under the pictures section of the facebook page. I would love it if you could somehow put all those wonderful drink recipes in a single location that is easy to find.
Thank you for sharing all the combined wisdom you have gleaned with us. I have already bought four more copies for gifts to friends, plus told two other friends. One ordered two copies within a half hour of trying the Skinny Chocolate and the other said she is going to get herself a copy.
Misscoolboot, we're working on making recipes more accessible! We have some exciting new developments in progress.

Excited about what I am reading in the Trim Healthy Mama!!!!! After the ups and downs of weight loss and gain, I am so ready to get started on something that will change my whole family's lives. I have also tried to cook healthy but was missing the information about fats & carbs not being put together so my body would use them correctly. Your book has a wealth of information. I read every free moment I have. Just moved to the Kentucky area after spending six years in Montana. Learning where I can find raw milk, eggs and such.

I'm going to order this book very soon. I am glad there is forums and such. I hope that this plan *clicks* for me. I am a mother of 10 and desiring more. I am very overweight sadly and need to lose quite a bit. I am hoping to lose at least 25-50 pounds in the very least. I am encouraged by so many testimonials I've read. Thanks for blessing us with this book and your time and energy.

I've done a different forum before called Fit Yummy Mummy and I'm so excited about a THM forum. I've started (sort of) over the past 3 months and so excited to say while I usually have a buzzing in my head before my cycle starts, I have not over the past two times of Month (TOM) which has been a real relief to my fears. Thank you for starting this site!

Getting started takes some planning and thought at first, but is so worth the effort! If you stick with it, soon it just becomes a way of life :-).

Hi!
New to the boards, and somewhat new to the diet. Can anyone direct me to the allergen forum?
Thanks!

We do not have a specific board for allergens here. There is one on FB though. Feel free to post your question on the general board though and I'm sure someone can help you:). If not, I'll search out an answer for you.

This is a place for encouragement. We want it to be a forum where everyone feels welcome and inspired. We never want anyone to come away feeling torn down or pulled apart. Part of the Trim Healthy Mama philosophy is to embrace all personality types, we certainly don't have to be clones of one another to achieve our own trim and healthy goals. So let's not debate the issues here. There are other forums for that. Let's not spend our time going back and forth on whether we should all follow the clean meat laws outlined in the Bible. Let's not make anyone who is not a scratch cook feel inferior and let's not debate whether one should be a vegetarian or eat meat. Let's not debate microwave vs convection ovens, unless we are using light humor of course. Some Mamas here stay at home with a large number of children, others work outside the home, some may not have children at all. All are welcome here. This THM lifestlye can work for everyone. Let's be kind and understanding of other people's convictions and choices on all these matters. We probably don't have to say it, but no foul language of course. Humor is always appreciated, laughter is good for the health as the Bible says in Proverbs, so is sound advice, life experience and great recipes and pictures. We love that you are here celebrating food, family and your forever trim with us.

Hi, I'm new here have just finished reading Thm ebook and really want to get my hands on a hard copy so I can have the recipes w/o having to go back and forth on my nook. I still not sure I am doing everything correct it has been a little overwhelming but I began the first of July and have lost 12lbs. I just found out about a support group near me that has just started so I hope to go to my first meeting tonight and hopefully learn and understand a bit more. Look forward to a new life change. Blessings!

I'm a newbie too! Just got my book a few days ago and I'm eating it up (pun intended). I noticed you said there is an introduction section...but I can't seem to find it. How do I post an introduction? Thanks so much!

Just purchased the book yesterday? can't wait to get started! I am 32 years old with 4 kids. I recently found out I have a stress fracture, so not much working out these days? . I am going to try eating differently, hoping this works!
