I made up a chocolate milk recipe yesterday, so I thought I would share!
Pour unsweetened almond milk into your blender to the 1 cup line. Add 1 1/2 tsp. cocoa powder, sweetener (I used a shake or two of Nustevia), and 1 tsp. of heavy cream. Blend well and serve.
It is good without the heavy cream, but not quite as smooth.

Oh dear, I'm going to have to make some of this for the kids. We rarely ever bought chocolate milk, but it was a treat they enjoyed a couple of times a year, and they asked a couple of days ago if we could get some. They'll be happy to hear that I've changed my mind that that chocolate milk will make an appearance soon.

I make the kids chocolate milk now with our whole raw milk. I want it too, but I hold back. . For my guy that doesn't like milk, he loves this and I love him getting all of the nutrition and good fat. He needs fat.

I made a chocolate mix that I put in a squeeze bottle so they could make individual servings. I put some water on the stove to boil, added cocoa powder to it and then sweetened it with stevia. After it cooled I put it in the comtainer and refrigerated it. They could shake it and add it to their milk when they wanted a sweet treat. I havent made it in a while so I will have to figure out the ratio's again.

YAY! This is one thing I really miss! Used to be with whole raw milk and Nesquick...but that had to go obviously . So excited to try this one.
