Doubling would make it an E, actually almost a Crossover due to more of the chia seeds adding up fat and calories. The cookie bowl was designed to look like a lot of food and be filling. I hope this new version is filling enough but sounds as if it is working great for many Mamas. I think you could probably add more liquid and use 1/2 tsp of gluccie to add more volume in the same manner as the cookie bowl? That would allow it to stay in FP mode.

Okay, thanks! That's kind of what I thought. I'll see later if he liked the flavor and if so, try bulking it up with gluc and more almond milk next time. I think he'll really like the cookie bowl, but I'm out of peanut butter... on the shopping list

That many oats would be too much for a FP, and would take it into E territory.

Yes, I think it helps to have plan approved snacks, maybe. I am in a much better place this morning! I had a great talk with my hubby last night. I was all prepared for him to say this is just a fad, why don't you stop and do something like weight watchers - but he didn't! He wants me to keep going! That helps so much! It reminded me, this isn't just about me and my "falling off the bandwagon", but its about being healthy for my family too. Blessedbeyondmeasure - I have oatmeal, with protein powder, coconut oil, almond milk and nustevia for those mornings I need something quick. I use quick oats for when I am really pressed for time. I don't know if that is ok (I know old fashioned oats best, but hopefully this is a good sub for us non-purists ) I will ask this question on a separate thread I also am going to post a wonderful blog post from a dear friend of mine. She has done wonderfully, really eating the THM way (although she doesn't know that yet - I want to encourage her to read this book!) Look for it in another post I read this about your husband and it reminds me of my hubby. What a blessing to have a supportive spouse! My husband also encouraged me last night. He has also had a rough week and is trying to eat healthier. So we motivated one another, and I am thankful he is my biggest fan.

I did the oats with double the almond milk, but without gluc (did not want to worry about the blender) and I found it pretty filling, but I'm not sure it would be as satisfying for a big guy (I'm only 5' tall, and almost within a healthy weight range). I do think that the gluc would help bulk it up.
