Ooh yummy! I have that planned for a few mornings in my week! As a lover of no-bake cookies, I'm sure that will be a favorite.

Mine turned out watery too, mamatomany! Perhaps we need to blend the gluc mixture a little longer to help it thicken.

Mine turned out really watery also. As I was eating it I was wondering if I could bake it as is to get a cookie like oatmeal treat. Any tried that?

I think you'll need to blend the gluc longer.

pearl, you hit the nail on the head. i could be up eating 1/2 a dozen no bakes, but instead i just put some cookie bowl oatmeal in the freezer. and, how did you gals find out about gluccie? i love how people are calling it that

Hey Family, I saw it in a recipe online about three years ago, it was being used to thicken a gravy. I immediately did a bunch of research on it as I love gravy and wasn't happy using xanthan gum as a thickener as I found it a bit slimy. Then I told Serene about it and she went crazy studying all the health benefits, after that we kept experimenting with it in recipes. We found out about the noodles that are made from it and were "wowed!" Why did you put your Cookie Bowl in the freezer not the fridge?

Pictures of the recipe are so helpful. maybe we could start a thread of just recipe pics?? Great idea do you want to start it? Do you mean a full board dedicated to it or one long thread? I think maybe the thread will be best? Tell me what you think and we'll do it. Yes, right how the pictures are sort of scattered. A thread will keep them together more than a board I think but I am back and forth on this one.

Hmmm, we the thread would be nice and easy. But then the board would allow someone to quickly peruse the foods to find the one they were looking for. That's not much help is it?!

I like the board idea. That way other people can post pics of the recipes too.
