In the book the ingredient for Crepes includes "Cream." What is the "cream?" It seems so random, not heavy cream or something more specific. There is no product at the store called "cream" Can anyone shed some light on what kind of cream to use when the word "cream" is in the ingredients? Cause when heavy cream is called for it is listed as heavy cream... Thank you for any and all replies!

Raw milk... I wish! Used to get it when we lived on my in-laws farm... yum Whipped cream, is there any kind that does not have sugar in it? I'm seeing whipped cream as in a can or a plastic tub! Hard to imagine the sisters eating that?? But heavy cream is liquid... I'm a "Drive Thru Sue" so I know there is a way to make heavy cream into a thicker cream... but will it keep in the fridge for fast access?

I am really not sure what you are asking, sorry. For the crepes you use the cream as is and pour it in the recipe. Unless you are talking about making whipped cream and it will keep for a short while (maybe a couple days) in the fridge. You whip it with a mixer or beaters and sweeten it with a bit of stevia and maybe a splash of vanilla. Yummy. Whipping cream is a liquid cream usually near the heavy cream There is a Reddi-whip (I think that is the name) talked about in the book to use that is from a can you would probably enjoy

The difference you want to watch for is whipping cream vs whipped. The whipped kinds are the ones with sugars added. The one exception that you can use on plan is fat free reddi-whip. Whipping cream and heavy cream are really the same thing. They are liquid, yes, but you can make your own whipped cream easily with an electric mixer, and adding some stevia and maybe some vanilla extract. It should keep for at least a few days in the fridge. It might lose a bit of fluffiness as time goes on.

Thank you both so much, I understand the recipe now better! I am trying these for breakfast tomorrow! There really is a learning curve with THM LoL But anything good is worth the effort and time Thanks again! (Fridge has heavy whipping cream now!)
