Anyone have a preference on which peanut flour is best: Protein Plus or Byrd Mill Peanut Flour Dark 12%? Both are recommended in the book and similar in price on netrition.com.
thanks!

I just read on the Protein Plus website concerning their peanut flour. According to them their peanut flour is "(Protein Plus private labeled the peanut flour for Trader Joe's so if the Trader Joe's brand of peanut flour is what you're looking for, this is the same product...just different packaging!)" I love that! I am going to head over to Trader Joe's to see if they carry it here...WA.

That would be so great if Trader Joe's has a good peanut flour. I'll be living close to one soon - moving to WA. I wonder if it's a good price? I'm curious to see what you find out when you get there.

I went to Traders and no peanut flour here, no flour of any kind in fact. Perhaps we have a smaller store than in other areas. It was a bummer!

I am going to Trader Joe's here in Marlton, New Jersey in a few hours. I wanted to check there too. I cannot think of where it would be located, I know the store pretty well. I will let you know. Just curious. :-). Sorry you couldn't find it in WA.

No peanut flour at TJ. I bought it online at netrition.

They do have almond meal there which is the same as almond flour except they don't blanch the peels off. It's about 1/3 the price of the Bob's Red Mill

Whole Foods didn't have it either here in NJ. I looked and asked an employee. It's just as easy to order it online :-)
