I am so hoping that this will work for me. Everything that has led me to this book has been very much of the Holy Spirit. I have been lo carbing for years and love that way of eating, but i have been unable to shake about 20 lbs. i can go for weeks eating on plan but then blow it with days of eating french fries, candy etc. so im pretty sure including e meals in will help me break this unhealthy cycle. But im having a really hard time wrapping my mind around lowfat eating.
truthfully all the e meals sound awful! It seems to me that the book takes the best of so many diets (atkins,south beach,paleo, suzanne somers,lowfat) and puts them all together in a way that makes sense. Those are all diets that i have had some luck with through the years.
anyway, i am glad to have this forum as i dont use facebook much. I think facebook is for extroverts and im an introvert! :-)
I would appreciate any thoughts or insights you can share with me. And if you are post menopausal like me please share your experiences with this plan if you have time.
thank you pearl and serene for listening to our loving God and putting in all this effort to help free us from food issues and help us all be better servants of JESUS! I am in awe of your discipline and faithfullness in accomplishing this incredible book.

Welcome to the forum and THM! Don't be scared of E meals. You can actually make them very delicious. The recipes in the book are great to give you a good start until you're more comfortable coming up with your own ideas. When I first started the plan, there was no book, so I was quite lost coming up with E meals. Now I love them!
