I made this today and used a mix of blueberries and unsweetened frozen cranberries instead of the regular mixed berries (which I LOVE also). It was perfect for this beautiful fall day, and reminded me of the upcoming holidays.
I found the frozen cranberries at Walmart.

Oh this sounds really yummy! I was just thinking about cranberries today, needing a change of pace from all the pumpkin I've been eating, lol!

Great minds think alike! I've been doing the same thing! Mine started out of necessity because I normally use a raspberry/blueberry mix and I ran out of blueberries so I threw in a few cranberries... and I LOVED the way it turned out. I was afraid that it would be too tart/bitter, but it isn't at all.

I made it even better....actually my daughter discovered it. If you continue to pulse it so it is not chunky at all, and add some heavy cream, it tastes just like ice cream.
