I've been sticking to the plan as best as possible for a while now. I have my weak moments, but don't seem to have any trouble getting back on plan. S, E, and even FP are more than satisfying for me. However, when I have my husband on the plan he is constantly hungry. He will have a full plate of food and less than half an hour after a meal be asking for something because he is "starving". It doesn't seem to matter which food we have, S, E, or FP; none of them seem to keep him full. What's going on?! Please help. I love the man, but our pantry is getting bare quickly and then we end up ordering pizza for a late night snack.

Men & their crazy metabolisms! My hubby has the same problem b/c he loves to have food available at all times. I try to keep snacks handy like cheese, nuts, fruit, veggies & dip, puddings, Tummy Tucking Ice Cream cubes, etc or offer to make smoothies (FSF, Pumpkin Pie Sip, choc/PB smoothies, etc). Also you could try making his S meals into S helper by adding a small serving of a carb side with his meals (1 slice toast w/ his eggs, 1/2 sweet potato w/ dinner, etc). If he's still hungry you might try a few full crossover meals. If he has no weight to lose this is your best option but if he wants to lose I would save this as a last resort. Men can usually handle more food & still lose weight. My hubby can eat crossovers while I don't have that luxury...yet

Thanks. I'll try a few carbs with his next meal and see what that does. I'm not at that stage either! I still have to be very careful.

My husband loves his late night snack of cornflakes with milk and honey! Lol He's the one in the family I'm really going to have to work on! Somehow... without pushing... He's tall and has a bit of a belly - just like a teddy bear. :-) But any time he decides he wants to lose weight, it just drops off, unlike me. :-( Ill be happy if he someday will just give up his Dr. Pepper, and sugary snacks he keeps while working. And starts eating healthy foods!

I would suggest a FP snack or drink/smoothie, if it is that soon after is he eating enough at the meal? If he doesn't need to lose crossovers are a great idea.
Also sometimes we confuse thirst with hunger, maybe if he drinks a big glass of water and then sees if he is still hungry.

My hubby's similar to this. When we started THM, he dropped 18 pounds in a few months, but was weak and shaky often. Complained he couldn't do his normal work. So, I put in crossovers for him. That helped, but now no weight loss. Snacks are the hardest - our favorite is nachos and fries. We've been doing significantly less of those and eating lots of yogurt instead, but he's tiring of that. He doesn't care for nuts, which I eat for snacks. He prefers fruity things and loves fruit smoothies, but that's way too much fruit. He likes big boy smoothies, but tires of those. He craves variety! Any suggestions?

I love smoothies made like the big boy or FSF, but useing an E portion of fruit, such as fresh or frozen mango, peach or even orange.
