Yesterday I made the Pumpkin treat, I believe it was page 388 in the book. My husband loved the flavor. I thought it wasn't quite sweet enough and will add some NuNaturals stevia next time in addition to the Truvia. The thing that got us was the texture. I thought it was really dry. I followed the directions exactly. Is there anything I can do to make it a bit more moist? More like pumpkin pie?

Hmm... I'm really not sure what happened there. I tend to have the opposite problem with mine - it's usually too moist! ......

I had another piece last night. After another try it does seem moist enough. I think it's just the texture. I expected something a bit creamier, I think. I can feel the graininess in the spices with this recipe. I wonder if there's a way to compensate for that? Would glucomannan help that issue you think?

I'm not sure about the gluccie, but you could give it a try!

Maybe it is an oven temperature variation, I had to cook mine a bit longer than the recipe said.

I absolutely love this recipe made with an almond meal and ground coconut crust (mix 1/2 C. ground coconut, 1/2 C. Almond Meal, and 1 T. melted butter)!!
