didn't want to reinvent the wheels so i did a quick search for "nuts only chex mix" and came up with these. can't wait (that's an understatement)
Chex-less Party Mix
#1 6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups almonds
2 cups walnuts
2 cups pecans
2 cups sunflower seeds
Heat oven to 250F. Combine nuts & seeds in 13 X 9-inch baking pan. Set aside.
Melt butter with Worcestershire sauce and seasonings in Pyrex cup in microwave. Stir well. Drizzle over nuts & seeds.
Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container. 40 servings, 1/4 cup each
*I vacuum-packed this in canning jars. A double batch yielded 5 FULL quart jars. (A single batch, therefore, should yield 5 pints.)*
Per Serving (based on 40 servings): 173 Calories; 16g Fat (78.8% calories from fat); 5g Protein; 5g Carbohydrate; 2g Dietary Fiber; 5mg Cholesterol; 103mg Sodium.

1 1/2 C PLAIN ALMONDS
1 1/2 C PLAIN WALNUTS
1 C PLAIN SPANISH PEANUTS
1 STICK SALTED BUTTER
3 TBS WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
2 TSP SEASONED SALT (LAWRY'S)
3/4 TSP GARLIC POWDER
3/4 TSP ONION POWDER
#3. 3 tbsp. butter
2.5 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salted mixed nuts (just used a big container of them, not sure of size)
1 tsp. seasoned salt
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Heat butter in a 13 x 9-inch pan in oven until melted. Remove. Stir in seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce. Add nuts. Mix well. Heat in oven 20-25 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes.
