I was craving lamb lately and decided to try roasted lamb recepie in the book and it turned out amazing. The only thing I did differently was I brined it in salt an paper for 1 days because didn't have all the spices listed in the book and when I got the spices I brined it again for 1 day in all the spices cause I didn't have 6 hours to cook it before work. I cooked Basic Gravy with it's own meet juice. That's right what I was craving for... Mmmmm... Yammy Attachments:

That sounds good. I wish lamb wasn't so expensive where I live. We only eat it on special occasions like Easter.

It's expansive in my area too. I bough it in Costco for $4.41/lb paid over $20 for that piece, but it was worth it.

$4.41 isn't too bad, considering what the cost of some beef is. I haven't seen it cheaper than $7 or $8 a pound. I just looked to see where you are from...I'm in WA, too, but way south of you in the Puyallup area. Maybe I'll have to check out Costco the next time I go in. I never think to look for lamb there

Do you have Aldi's? They sometimes have lamb & it is really good but I can't remember the price.

No Aldi's on the West Coast that I know of.
We have Fred Meyer (part of the Kroger chain), Safeway (part of Von's/Ralph's chain), Top Food, and Costco

Liliya...so glad you mentioned buying lamb at Costco!
I made a lamb roast today in the Crockpot. It was such a special treat and so good.
