Winter squash fits into an S meal, did I read that right? I would have thought E since it seems similar in flavor to a sweet potato.

Not all winter squash fits into S meals. That is actually something that Pearl realized later was written wrong in the book. Pumpkin is fine for S, as well as spaghetti squash. But acorn and butternut squashes are in the E category.

How about baby squashes? I think that they're pattypan squashes. Or maybe a mix. It's a bag from Costco. It says that for 1 serving, which is 1/2 cup that it's 20 calories. Total carb 4 g 1 %; fiber 1 g 5 %; sugar 2 g.

I just saw the baby squashes at Costco today, they are summer squash as opposed to winter

Good! The bag looks so fun and delicious - like something right from the garden in the summer! Hopefully my children will enjoy them, too..........

I didn't have it in my budget to get them yesterday, but I really hope they still have them the next Costco trip They definitely look fun and delicious.
