I am new to thm, and am wondering if I can sub black tea or chai tea or even green tea in the shrinker. Also what can I sub for almond milk? We don't get paid till Friday, so I am in a pinch.

You can sub any tea you would like to use. There are weight loss benefits associated with oolong but it will still be on plan and yummy with just about any tea. Sometimes I sub 2 tsp protein powder & 1 tsp coconut oil for the almond milk or if you have the boxed, unsweetened coconut milk (I think it's 4.5 g fat per cup or something close to that) you can use that. If you have almonds you can make almond milk, 1/4 c almonds per half gallon of water.

Canadian mamas can get oolong tea at superstore in the Asian department. 100 bags for $2.69.

Green tea has it's own benefits as well, I agree with go with what you have for now and if you have an Asian market around to get Oolong when you can it is usually pretty inexpensive or if you have a Big Lots some mamas get it there

Thank you ladies. Your help is greatly appreciated. @cashen10, do you have a link or a how-to on making your own almond milk? 1/4 cup yielding 1/2 gallon is crazy cheap.
