I am new to THM and I am trying to find more Crock Pot recipes. I work full time and usually use the crock pot 1x a week. The book had a couple ideas, but nothing to solid and I find it difficult to follow. Any ideas, recipes or thought would be greatly appreciated.

I cook like the book crockpot recipes, just usually throw in this or that, so I am not much help. There might be some good ones on the www.pinterest.com/THMamas/ pinterest board though I do love roasts in the crockpot and have recently discovered turkey breasts, I was surprised at how moist it stays.

I love the crockpot too! I throw in chicken breasts, with chicken stock- let it cook all day and come home and we have it with some steamed veggies or cauliflower mash and a salad. Then I take the leftovers and pull some out and cube it, take other out and shred it. Then I either refrigerate or freeze it. When I am ready to use it, I will take the cubes for salad, or pizza toppings. I like the shredded for chicken tacos- just toss in skillet to heat up and had taco seasoning. I do pork chops in the crockpot and again pick a side to go with it- like dreamless veggies etc. you can put any meat in there really corned beef with cabbage is delicious. And you can make sandwiches out of it with basic sandwich buns. I also make broth based soups in my crockpot. Thrown in all the ingredients even frozen chicken breasts, left it cook all day and then cut up the chicken or shred it after work. Add quinoa and make it an E or just veggies and make it a FP. I make homemade meatballs, and freeze them and then will throw them frozen in the crockpot on low with 3 cups of beef broths. Then cook all day, and a little heavy whipping cream or half and half and Gluccie and you have Swedish meatballs. You could use dream fields pasta or we normally do cauliflower mash underneath. That takes maybe 10 minutes to steam and whip hope this helps!

I love the crockpot recipes from the book, they are my go to recipes. I also have a crockpot cookbook from Maria Emmerich which has some great options as well. Her blog has a lot of crockpot recipes also, this is what came up when I searched crockpot on her site. I hope that helps! mariamindbodyhealth.com/?s=crockpot
