I was wondering about these Navitas Organic Raw Cacao Nibs I have in my fridge. I used to throw them in smoothies etc (too bitter to just eat alone), and wonder if they are on plan. My 16 year old mixes a teaspoon or so in with the peanut butter on his sandwiches, he loves these things! Serving size 28g, calories 130, fat 12g, carb 10g (fibre 9g, sugar 0g), protein 4g Does anyone have experience with these?

I'm unfamiliar with them, sorry.
Would you be using the whole 28g?

I discovered them through Joy McCarthy who wrote Joyous Health. She's Canadian though, so maybe not well-known outside of here.
I never have used the full amount of a suggested serving, they are far too bitter and intense (even for me). I usually use a scant teaspoon 5g in a single-serve-size smoothie, pudding or whatever.

You have a more refined palate than I, then! I love the crunch of them but I don't think I could use them to replace chocolate chips!
