if you are hungry between your meals (the three hour period), is there something you can eat?

If you are hungry between meals, you most likely didn't eat enough at your last snack/ meal. A little hunger before it's time to eat again is also a good thing. Of course if you are pregnant or nursing, that changes things...

You can eat meals/snacks closer together if you are pregnant or nursing. How far apart are you eating now? Are you getting plenty of protein? You might also need S Helpers or Crossovers, some nursing mamas do.

Thank you for your help! I am helping my mom and husband who both want to lose weight and I have not been able to look into crossovers and s helpers. I will try to figure them out today and get started with that. I've been eating 2.5-3 hours apart. I have been trying to get protein in with every meal. My son has allergies and is highly sensitive to a lot of foods. I have started using hemp protein for smoothies but I think it is an E. I wonder if that is a helper or crossover? 4g fat 12g carbs. Also, since I am nursing do I need more carbs? And is raw honey okay sometimes?

You can do Crossovers as needed in nursing and you might need more E or S helper, depending on your body There is some great info in the book on raw honey, a little at goal is ok on occasion Page 187 is a good place to brush up on the THM view.
