I need help converting a recipe to thm style.
NO BAKE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH (joannasoh.com)
1 can chickpeas, washed and drained 1/4 cup peanut butter 2 TBL honey 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup chocolate chips
Combine ingredients, except choc. chips,in blender until smooth. Transfer to bowl and fold in chips. Scoop or form 16 mini cookie dough balls and chill. Serves 16.
These are really delicious, and I use honey, since I am pregnant and am concerned about using stevia. Would this be an s, e, fp, or crossover? I am still a little confused about the different types of meals. Thanks!

This recipe would not follow the normal guidelines of THM. But, if you are pregnant and using honey as an OCCASIONAL treat, not an everyday sweetener, it could be ok for you. It is a crossover, because of both fuel types being included. But crossovers are not off plan, they are just not weight loss conducive. It is ok to have crossovers while pregnant and nursing. Many women really need them at this time. Just watch your own body, and include them as you feel they are needed. You said you are still having a bit of a hard time figuring out the meal types? Hopefully the following might help.. The chickpeas and honey are E fuel. Carbs/sugars are E fuel. The peanut butter is an S. Fats are S fuels. Together they become a crossover.

Oh...and the chocolate chips! S fuel..if they are on plan ones. You could cut up an 85% or higher chocolate bar for these.
