I'm reading through the THM ezine #10 and I'm reading about the SLM that is on the THM membership. Can we get that menu posted here on the forum? I don't have internet besides my phone and I don't want to use the membership site because I just don't have time to go through all of that.
My daughter and I have been on THM for just over 3 years. She has not lost a significant amount of weight and she is in the obese category. I would love to get this menu to help us out.
I would be so grateful if we can get even just that bit off the membership site. I know others pay, but they make use of everything on the site and all I need is that menu to help us gain a better focus.
Thank you.

I have been really wanting to see this menu too, but can't afford the member ship. I wish I could though, it sounds great! Hoping someone can post it.....

Sorry ladies. It is just part of the membership site. It really is a wonderful site! I was paying almost as much for just for my old menu planning soft wear. I only use THMs now.

I think you can put together your own slow losers menu by using the Fuel Cycle menus in the Turtle chapter of the book as a kind of guide for portion sizes and meal suggestions, and just mix up the fuel types each day. Keep your S's to either light S or deepS and do lighter E's when you do them. Snacks mostly FPs and the occasional light E or deepS. Try to do at least one regular meal a day as an FP.
I find that its not hard to do a day with 2 FP meals if I start out with an S breakfast. So I recently started doing that once in a while. Its a nice reminder that you can do FP meals and not feel deprived.
I don't think there is any magic to the stubborn losers menu. Its just a way to get your mind more used to smaller calorie loads. Its so easy to pile on an extra fruit or starch at an E meal, or go too heavy on the goodies one can add to an S.

Thank you, queen, for those suggestions. You are right, I need to take care with my menu, fuels, and portions. I was hoping to save a bit on the planning part by just getting a menu right in front of me and just follow that. With me nursing a 3 month old and my daughter being 15 we both have different needs as far as fueling. I'd love to be able to save some time by having a menu for her and tweaking it for me.

Did you ever put together a menu? It would be fun to put all of our brains together to come up with something. I find that menu planning is key for me, but I tire of the same thing over and over again.

My menu yesterday was a bit too light. I NEED MORE FOOD! I ended up eating a grilled chicken breast and two T. of pea salad between dinner and snack. Can anyone say elevensies? LOL. Only it was more like fivesies...after karate and before Bible Study. Today's menu: B: Mushrooms, sausage in coconut oil, Trimmy (Deep S) L: Trim Train with beans and one slice of toasted sprouted bread & a lemon lime "pop" (E) Sn: Gwen's Orange Muffins & a vanilla roobios trimmy (FP) D: Grilled Tilapia with green salad dressed in slim belly jelly vinaigrette (FP) Sipper: Caramel Apple GGMS, HOT Sweet n Spicy Good Earth Tea

A few days away...family iussues. However, I did stick to THM! I did eat too many nuts and not enough "lighter" soups and veggies. Back on the THM band-wagon today, with this menu:
B: 2 fried eggs in coconut oil with nutritional yeast, hot sauce, mushrooms, red pepper, & onion. Trimmy! (deep S) L: Trim Train Soup with shredded cabbage & baby frappe (FP) edit: added radish and cilantro to the topping mix... Sn: PB Junkie & Apple slices w/ salted caramel creamy oolong (E/FP) D: Rich & Tender Venison Stew (S) Sipper: Apple Pie
***MUST drink more water! I am feeling dehydrated - even with multiple 20 oz. herbal teas.

I read your first menu, StacyLynn and thought "I would be starving on that." I guess it worked that way for you too. I'll add a menu. Here's yesterday's: B (E) - 2 pieces Ezekiel toast with peanut junkie butter and half a banana L (S)- Zoodles & kelp noodle mixed with chicken breast, red peppers, a bit of onion and a peanut butter/asian sauce D (deepS) baked chicken drumsticks with ranch seasoning, stewed okra, broccoli over a big greens salad, skinny chocolate S (FP) Hot chocolate trimmy I vary back and forth between the Shrinker (hot) and the GGMS unsweetened at room temp (chugged) but I didn't make either yesterday. I was intending a light S for lunch, but I got a little heavy handed on the peanut butter. But I'm not sorry. It was yummy.

Oh, yummmmm! I love your variety! What is kelp noodle mix? Stewed okra? That sounds super good! I tried your umami (sp.) recipe, on another link, and thought it was wonderful! Is that similar to yesterday's lunch? Thanks for posting your menu. I often get stuck in a rut and appreciate being able to view what other people are eating.
