I do the bulk of my shopping at Aldi and was wondering what treasures you all find there that fit with this plan... I know in the book the specialty breads were mentioned. Here are some other items I found-the ones with ? marks I'm wondering if they are okay... cottage cheese cheeses egg whites salmon tilapia frozen veggies cocoa Mayo? butter? fresh produce Also, I'm confused about what cream to buy? heavy whipping cream? Heavy Cream?
Would love to get some input and hear about other items you have found... Thanks! Kathi

My Aldi has the 0% Greek yogurt and I buy my frozen bags of berries there, too. I just started the plan November so I am still discovering things at Aldi.

I know Pearl mentioned that Aldi's cocoa powder never tastes good in their recipes that require cocoa. I found Greek yogurt to be cheaper at walmart here than Aldi. But several of the things you mention are great purchased at Aldi....cheaper than most places too.

We shop a lot at Aldi too. sea salt grinder cheeses fruit/veggies (both fresh and frozen) canned black beans for the special agent brownies their unsalted butter is good nuts heavy cream half and half cottage cheese and yogurt when priced right egg white cartons turkey bacon eggs fit and active flatbreads cheese wedges (like laughing cow) - the jalapeno ones are great sandwich meats

Their cocoa is horrible, everything else you mentioned there is great. Just today I noticed Walmart has come out with their generic Grea Value brand of Greek Yogurt. Exactly the same as the others carbs wise (9 grams) but quite a bit cheaper. Even cheapter than Aldis and their Greek Yogurt has 10 grams carbs, not that it matters that much. I like their egg white cartons.

We mean heavy cream but Aldi's one has a filler and an extra carb when it shouldn't. I use Walmart brand due to that.

Is it ok to use Aldi's heavy cream in your coffee? I have been for the past 8 weeks.

It is okay but I think there are more pure versions. If weight loss is going well for you then don't even worry about switching.
