I felt fairly good yesterday except being a little hungry at times but I found if I let my S meals settle for a bit the hunger subsided mostly. Then I had some skinny chocolate sweeten with Truvia for my afternoon snack. I got this really intense buzzed, hyperstimulated feeling. I wasn't sure if it was the caffiene in the coco or the xylitol in the Truvia. I have had lots of soda and chocolate and never felt lije that. Dinner was yummy. Grilled chicken breast over broccoli with an alfredo sauce made from laughing cow cheese and some chicken broth. I was still a little hungry so I had a little more broccoli that was around 5:30. I.didn't do an evening snack because the skinny chocolate made me feel funny and I didn't care for the batch too much. It was bitter. I made some chocolate nut slab before bed. I was hungry at 2 am after nursing so I.tried a small piece of the chocolate nut slab. When I got up this morning I had a headache, felt sort of weak and shaky, and have this strange tightness in my chest. Sort of feels like a panic attack/rapid heart beat. That was about 6:45. I made breakfast. Three fried eggs with cheese and three pieces of deli meat turkey. I am full but still feel lousy. Headache, chest tightness, and this sort off over simulated acheiness in my arms and hands. Is this n just detox? Could it be the Truvia? Blood sugars issues maybe? I am drinking lots of water to help with the headache and to help flush my system. I weighed this morning out of curiosity since I am feeling so bad. I am down from 205.6 to 202.8. Is that too fast? I was very suprised. Maybe I need more calories.
Thanks for helping!

Bridgette, are you nursing? That can cause a much faster depletion of glucose from your cells. Your cells do need to empty out and some people feel not so great when that happens but you might want to try an E meal here and there so it doesn't happen too fast. Try the Trim Healthy pancakes.
Did you grind the Truvia for the skinny chocolate? It will taste bitter if not ground and won't be sweet and creamy. Truvia doesn't sit well with some people who are sensitive to the erythritol and others need to make a very slow start with coconut oil or it can cause a gurgly tummy and very loose bowels. You might want to order some Nustevia if you haven't already and try some of the recipes with that to see how you react.

I am nursing. I did grind the Truvia but I used cooking coconut oil so there was no coconut taste to help the bitter. I liked the chocolate nut slab this morning with some berry flovered tea to help mask some of the after taste. I didn't feel the same intense buzz with the CNS so I will stick with it for now until I can get some extra virgin coconut oil and the nunatrals stevia. I didn't have the ricotta for the pancakes but I found the dairy free recipe and had everything for it. I am going to try that for lunch. I am feeling somewhat better. Just a bit of a lingering headache. Thankful the Lord blessed me with 45 minutes with both babies sleeping so I could rest a little.

I'd have to agree with Pearl, just from my very limited experience. I did almost all S meals for the first few days, mostly because they have better snacks, and I felt all jittery, almost like I was hyped up on caffeine. Now that I have learned to eat more E meals interspersed, it is much better. I think we forget, because making milk is a cinch, that it really does up the demands on our bodies. Of course, since I've been nursing nearly straight for close to 19 years, I'm not sure I remember normal. There is definitely a difference nursing a very young baby, though.

The pancaks call for cottage cheese. If you make the dairy free ones, I think they need baking powder too. Try one teaspoon. Lack of sleep can affect so many bodily functions, especially when you are changing up diet. Hope you get more of that.

When I started, my baby was 15 or 16 months. I felt awful the first few days. I find having an apple with PB before bed helped. I needed a little glucose. Otherwise by morning I felt awful and was shaking.

Happy to report I felt much better this morning. I did a leftover pancake with 1tsp of plan approved PB and 1tsp of palmers. Is that still an E snack or does the peanut butter push it to crossover? It was nicely timed 3 hours aFter Pearl's easy fantastic meatloaf and a side salad.
Btw Pearl, last night my husband said "I sure am glad the sisters are so different but still decided to work together on this because if we had to be like Serene it be another year before we would have started this." He would like us in more of a purist place in a year. I think it might take about 30 years Lol.
BTW Pearl, last night my husband said "i sure am glad the

When people say "they didn't eat much sugar before" you have to read in between the lines with this. Maybe you didn't think you were. At least 3 years ago when I switched from grain to no grains and from cane sugar to xylitol it was crazy day 3 I felt like I had the worse flu of my life for 1/2 a day then it just went away and I only felt tired. And at that time I was eating so little of either I thought this little switch would be so easy for me (so did my other friend who did it with me). Sugar is in so many hidden forms. and if you were not eating much of it to begin with, it might have been storing what you did so that it always had some. This is just my thoughts and previous experience.
It gets better ladies! And so worth it. Good luck and keep working hard you are doing great!
