This is one of my favorite ways to make oatmeal. I first made this when I visited my aunt who had wild blackberries growing alongside her road that she could pick whenever she wanted. Whenever I get a chance to have fresh blackberries I like to make this. Of course, I used to make a version of this that would be a definite crossover, but I found a way to make it a great E meal. This uses: slightly less than a regular 1 - 1 1/4 cup serving of oatmeal, maybe 1/4 of an apple, some blackberries, cinnamon, stevia, 1 tsp butter, and an extra little sprinkling of uncooked old fashioned oats. Dice up a little bit of apple, maybe 1/4 of one unless it's a really tiny apple. Saute the apple over medium or medium/low heat in 1 tsp of butter and a good sprinkling of cinnamon and some stevia to taste until they're almost tender. Sprinkle on just a tiny bit of old fashioned oats and keep frying until the apples are soft, and the oats get a bit toasted. It's especially good if you can get the oats to get slightly brown and crispy. Put the apples along with some blackberries over top of your bowl of oatmeal (slightly smaller than a regular portion to keep it in E setting with the added apple).
