Hi, I'm new to THM, and while I tried to read my new copy slowly so I'd gain as much out of it as I could, I was so excited about what I was reading, I think I missed something! I can tell that you don't want people to be counting calories, etc. and to be uber-worried about portions, but for the recipes in the book, are they generally written for one person, or a family of 4, or I don't want to make an assumption here. I'm thinking that some of the recipes, like breakfasts, lunches, and snacks, are designed for one person, but the dinner recipes? Thanks for your help.

The dinner recipes are all for families. Most of the breakfast and lunches are one serving unless specified otherwise.

Whew! I had guessed correctly! Thank you so much, Pearl. I'm pre-diabetic, and my husband might be, too; I don't know. There are three of us out of the four in our family who need to lose weight and make dietary changes. We'd been eating a whole food diet, mostly (but not exclusively), and your book explains it all so well that we were thrilled to read it! Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us all.
