I came across this recipe, tweaked it to be plan-approved and am posting it hoping that it really works for an S. Let me know if it doesn't! This should provide at least 2 servings. Vanilla Soother 3 c. almond milk 4 egg yolks dash of Nustevia to taste 1/2 t. glucomannan Heat until thick, stirring constantly. Then remove from heat and add: 1 t. vanilla 1 T. butter Stir and pour into mugs. This is a thick drink so you could either sip it or eat it with a spoon like a custard.

Yes, that works for S. It sounds so comforting too. I'm freezing here in my house with no heater, so I would love to drink this right now. =)

I made this this morning, and the eggs yolk cooked in it so that there were big lumps, and it was a bit slimy. Did I do something wrong?

I haven't tried this recipie but from my experience making "boiled egg custard" you probably need to temper the egg yokes. Heat the milk, keeping the yokes seperate then add some of the hot milk to the yokes before adding them to the pot. Think I'll give it a try soon. Suppose to be freezing in GA tonight.
