So I got in the kitchen this morning and played around a little. Melted 2 unsweetened chocolate baking squares with a couple tablespoons of coconut oil. Stirred and mixed in 3TBS of pb flour and nunaturals nustevia to taste. It was still pretty bitter so I poured in just a dash of heavy cream and mixed with immersion blender. Poured out onto wax paper and spread thin. Roughly chopped a small handful of salted roasted almonds and sprinkled over the top and stuck in the freezer.
I found the salted nuts really helped with the bitterness. And since I spread it thin, the problem I had with the nustevia seeming to float to the top didn't matter. It's super yummy! Maybe too yummy. I keep thinking about it.
Now, is there a problem with any of the ingredients for it to be an S snack or dessert?

It sounds great. It's making me really want a piece of chocolate now.

Thanks for the inspiration! I'm still kind of new to THM and really loving all the creative ideas. AND the experimenting that just naturally seems to follow. fun. quick. delicious AND HEALTHY! Thanks for sharing your skinny chocolate spin-off! sounds really wonderful! like it would solve the issues I'm having ...but then again maybe i don't want all my children loving it too?!! : ) A question about the cream~ right now i want to keep it fuel-pull; so just wondering exactly what the cream improves and if you've ever tried this recipe without it.. Also, what is pb flour?

MamaB you must be on the same wave length. I don't even like chocoklate and made this today for our PB bars and it's really not bad. Not my favorite but not bad. So I got to thinking what if I made the same recipe with PB Flour? I think I am off to try it.
Also, isn't this a S meal because of the coconut oil in it?

Update - I made it PB Flour and it turned out AMAZING. So we took the PB chunk topped it with the chocolate chunk and ate! Tasted like a Recess PB cup. My dh was like this is amazing, the kids heard and came a running.
So the question is when making this lovely dessert. How much of it can you eat? So if I pour it onto a typical *(not the larger) paper plate how much is mine to devour for snack with a cup of coffee? Cause you know I will have to share the rest with my family! :0)
