Hey Ladies! I was wondering if you could tell me how much peanut flour is a single fp serving? Can it be the full 2 Tbs serving from the package or less? Also, in the fuel cycle chapter it says that a few baby carrots are ok for FP. I've been making a pad thai version of konjac noodles with peanut flour and like 2 baby carrots. Do the carrots make it an E?

1 Tbs. is a FP serving of peanut flour. You can use less if you want but no more. Of course if you are making for more than yourself, use more. Your pad thai will be fine with only 2 baby carrots - no problem.

If I add about 1/4 cup of milk to any FP drink does that change it? I'm wondering because I do not have almond milk or any other kind of milk on hand other than whole milk. :-) thank-you

I just tried the konjac noodle recipe and it was truly delicious. The noodles tasted like the rice noodles in Pho - Vietnamese chicken soup. The fishy smell made me nervous, but after cooking the smell was gone. I made the recipe as suggested above but I left out the eggs, sesame oil (didn't have it) and prepared the "purist" version. I added cilantro (0 calories) and garnished with a bit of green onion. De-lish!

Hopefully you'll be able to try the other milks at some point.

I use the basic recipe posted by Serene and Pearl but added two julienned BABY carrots and garlic. Then I made a sauce from 1/3 cup lime juice and water, 3 Tbs fish sauce, 1TBS and 1 TBS rice vinegar. I didn't use all the sauce, just added it slowly and let it absorb/evaporate. It's gonna be a bit watery but using too much sauce makes it yucky watery. When done cooking, I tossed with cilantro and green onions and bean sprouts. It was really yummy. You COULD add a few chopped peanuts but that might take it out of FP. Sorry it took so long to put up the recipe. I've been offline for a few days!
