I have been using Xylitol for years because it doesn't not promote yeast (candida) growth.
I saw a recipe to make your own Truvia, and was wondering if xylitol could be used instead? It seems very similar to erithrotol.

Xylitol is slightly sweeter than erythritol. You can actually use Xylitol almost interchangeably with Truvia, so you actually don't really need to mix anything else with it.

Would it be okay to use the amounts given for Truvia in THM recipes with Xylitol one for one?

I think that will work. Try it out and see if it tastes good to you, and adjust wherever necessary. You should figure out quickly if you typically need more, less, or if it works out the same.
