I had an early morning meeting for work today, so I had one last meal of Deep S with eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage and now I'm ready for the rest of the Fuel Pull day!

Oh my word, what was I thinking? I got busy after breakfast & carried my Shrinker around with me & then realized I needed to go grocery shopping but had 2 rolls of hay on the back of my truck. After taking forever to unload (it usually takes 30 min max but today took 2 hrs) I went to the grocery store. No lunch, no snack, & starving, on a FP day, ugh!!! Anyway, I grabbed the 2nd half of my Shrinker when I walked in the door, unloaded groceries as quickly as I could & made Tuna melts for the kids & then finally made 2 roll-ups with lean turkey, LC cheese, greens in a Joseph's that I split into 2 pieces & made the Light Tomato Soup. This was supposed to be my lunch but I was too hungry to try to make fish tacos (tortillas). The spice cake was amazing!!!! It really needs to be paired with some Greek yogurt/cream cheese frosting. I have a sweet friend from church coming over for lunch tomorrow, on a FP Day, again, What was I thinking??? But it is what it is. She is pregnant so I won't even attempt to make a FP anything for our lunch. We are making chicken and dumplings. I will try with all my might to pull some broth out for myself before we add the dumplings & I can add some veggies &/or konjac noodles. My daughter is famous for her brownies and she will be making them for a special treat after lunch so I think I'm going to make the 37 cal brownies www.bromabakery.com/2013/04/37-calorie-brownies-and-no-im-not.html & hopefully no one will notice I'm eating a little bit different. I really think I need another spice cake for dessert tonight or maybe I'll just make the brownies tonight & enjoy one now & then they will be ready for tomorrow. I am going to go ahead for a 3rd week starting Sunday. Is anyone else up for another week?

37 Calorie brownie? I'm intrigued! I hope you can enjoy your visit with your friend tomorrow without worrying...I propose an amendment to the FP Cycle...a "worry-free" meal pass for occasions such as this, sort of like "get out of jail free" when a special circumstance like this comes up during FP Cycle. I'm only half joking. Maybe we can ask Pearl and Serene They know that life happens. I'm not sure I'm up for a 3rd strict week. Maybe a third week following the days but not with all the restrictions. I'll let you know. Good day today for 2nd FP. Breakfast: cookie bowl oatmeal (I never remember to make this the night before. It works just as well an hour or two before or even make then eat!) Snack: Cottage berry swirl Lunch Mushroom Soup (FP version) www.gwens-nest.com/family-favorite-recipes/cream-of-mushroom-soup-recipe/ and Deli meat lettuce wrap custard Snack: Lemon Jello Snack: half of a detox smoothie Dinner: Chicken Spinach burgers (using crushed WASA crackers instead of bread crumbs) cookinwithsuperpickle.blogspot.com/2011/01/white-cheddar-and-spinach-chicken.html spaghetti squash Dessert: meringues and other half detox smoothie (I found for the meringues that it worked well to add cream of tartar. I didn't have the xanthangum so I left it out. I made it as a one large meringue because I was going to use it as a base for pudding to make a dessert out of...unfortunately, it was so good that my son got into it and it was eaten "as is")

I've lost 20 lbs overall since July 1, give or take the normal fluctuations.
I was a Whole Grain Jane Carb-queen and a sugar addict. No more!
It is so exciting, even after 6 months on THM....so many great recipes to choose from and no deprivation at all. Looking forward to hearing how it goes for you, andiehobbit.

I think I would be up for another week too! I'll try for it anyway!Protein shake + some of it in my coffee as creamer this morning for breakfast when I got to work...looking forward to a snickers shake this afternoon! Samantha, yes what were you thinking?!?! lol ...jk, but really, fuel pull days are much harder when you're not prepared with meals and snacks to keep you satisfied and full! Glad you were able to make it through!Hope you have a great time with your friend:) Andiehobbit, I've lost about 3 lbs but more important to me, I feel thinner ...I love waking up feeling smaller!!! It's very motivating! Excited for you to start your Fuel Cycle!

Oh, since being on plan I've lost about 20 I think ... My previous comment of 3 lbs was since on this fuel cycle! I didn't want to tell anyone what I weighed when I first started so I forgot what I actually weighed starting out! I yo-yo'd up and down 20-30 pounds over the last 10 years I've told most people that I've lost 15 lbs but I think it is actually closer to 20. I'm only 5'2 and I weighed about 140-145 in March 2013 when I really started understanding the plan. I was coming off of many different fad diets and restrictive diets so it took me longer than some people to lose the weight but this is the longest that I have ever stuck with an eating plan (and the longest that I've ever maintained weight-loss) - 9 months or so might not seem like a long time but it's amazing for me...I used to typically start gaining weight back the first day I went off a strict diet - but not anymore! I did gain a few pounds over the holiday (I really mean only a few - like 3 - which is a huge deal because I think the average gain for people through the holidays is 7-10 or something crazy!) And with this fuel cycle I'm back down to pre-holiday weight and feeling great! So I'm at about 123 right now (the lowest I've been since on THM is 121 and I would like to get to about that weight again or a little less so I can feel like I can fluctuate from 118-120 depending on the day ) I've weighed less when I was on a very restrictive diet or crazy exercise routine before but I'm actually the same size or smaller now even though I weigh about 10 pounds more than my smallest!

I haven't done a fuel cycle as I'm nursing but I've lost 20 lbs so since starting THM & though I've technically weighed less I'm actually the smallest I've ever been in my adult life because I've lost inches as well. It's so exciting to be losing weight, feeling SO good & enjoying what I eat with no guilt.
