Hi! I'm wondering if I can use cream in my coffee with an E meal. I made a bowl of old fashioned oats with some Greek yogurt and half a small apple for breakfast, which I know is an E. But I wanted coffee, and I know you can have a LITTLE fat with an E meal, no more than 5 grams, right? So I measured out 1 tablespoon of cream for my coffee, which apparently has 5 grams of fat. Is this okay to do?

Another question (I am having trouble getting the hang of this!)...would I be able to use half-n-half (up to 5 grams of fat still) in my coffee instead of cream? Both? Either? Neither? Help please!

5 grams on the nutritional facts is a good guide. I think you are fine using cream or half and half. If you are already using your 5 gr fat limit in your E or FP meal/snack then you could try almond milk.

Yes, a tsp of fat is about five grams so if that is how you choose to "spend" it, that works
