Hello all, I'm getting ready to start THM and had a bread question. I've cut carbs back for a long time. For years I've relied on Sara Lee delightful sandwich bread for when I wanted something easily available that wasn't so carb damaging. 2 slices of bread have a net carb count of 13 grams. I haven't seen this bread discussed anywhere on threads/blogs as an E option. Trying to figure out why? I realize it's probably not made up of really complex carbs like an Ezekiel bread, but does it matter THAT much? 30 gram carb sandwich of Ezekiel/homemade sourdough or 13 grams of Sara Lee sandwich? Does anyone see a big problem with using Sara Lee delightful in E meals?

While the numbers are ok, the ingredients are not. There's high fructose corn syrup and sucralose for starters. It'd be better to steer clear of this stuff.

Thanks for the opinion! Just FYI, I went back and looked at the ingredient list - it lists sugar and stevia extract. No corn syrup or sucralose!

Hmm, I have "healthy multi-grain." Can't find it online with the detailed info to link it. I took a photo of the bag with ingredients, but can't figure out how to copy and paste it into the response box! 1 gram of sugar for 2 slices.

Also, a lot of the online photos aren't accurate with what I'm reading on the bag. I have no idea where they are pulling the photos!

I've found the one you use! However, it has sugar and cornstarch. It's also not sprouted, nor is it a sour dough, so it's off plan.
