Hi, I was wondering if it's okay to have alot of 1/2 and 1/2 at once? I want to make healthy eggnog with it, but wasn't sure if it's okay to have that much at a time. And I'm also wondering how 1/2 and 1/2 is THM approved, since it has milk in it, doesn't it?
Any help would be much appreciated!

I wouldn't try to use a large amount of half and half in a recipe, since as you say, it does have milk in it. I think the main way it is an allowed choice is for just a swirl in your coffee.. Could you maybe make a half and half substitute, by using half cream, half almond milk? And of course it is to be remembered that even cream, as some other calorie dense foods, needs to be kept in moderation, most of the time!
