We were cleaning out our food pantry and I found a bag of wheat germ. I decided to google it and it looks like it has a glycemic index of about 15. I would use it in my siblings granola and granola bars. I was just wondering if it was on plan and if so, in what setting you could use it? I'm going to keep researching it, if it's not too high in gluten and it is on plan I may try and start using it

Could you share the nutritional info? Serving size, fats, carbs, fiber.

Does this help? Two tablespoons of raw wheat germ have about 1.5 grams of unsaturated fat, 9 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of protein, 2 grams dietary fiber, 2 grams of sugars, no cholesterol and about 60 calories. This is plenty of protein and fiber.Nov 3, 2011 www.doctoroz.com/article/why-you-need-wheat-germ

Pearl says- "It's fine, but the carbs can add up quickly if you're using it for S. A sprinkle is fine though." -
