I feel like I just hit the jack pot. I went to and Asian Food Mart an hour away (making use of visiting my grandma in the cities) and got a 7oz bag for 1.34 and a 1lb bag for 2.49! They only had 2 larger bags so I had to buy some smaller ones, too. I hope I like them I bought 6 bags. Does anyone know the fridge life for these? Could they be frozen? Thinking ahead for my next trip. Misty I've only seen them unrefrigerated in the Asian section of grocery stores. So, I imagine they will last a long time.

Great new thanks! I asked my friend last night and she said they do not have to be refrigerated either and will last for a very long time.

Would it be a FP or a S meal if I just made these noodles with butter and put some Parmesan cheese on them?

I made this today. I made it an S as I had some leftover green beans from an s meal a few days ago. I added the green beans, extra sesame oil, rice vinegar and siracha. I think they are yummy... a bit strange but yummy. Here's hoping the siracha kills my cold!

Well, I had my doubts when I first opened the package. I didn't think there was any way that the odor could possibly be gone after cooking, but it was - or maybe any lingering odor is masked by the soy sauce . That's okay. They were pretty good. They do have an odd texture, but I'm a texture person and it wasn't odd enough to put me off, so well done ladies. This recipe gets a thumbs up.

I'm having a hard time with these. I found them 2 for a buck which is awesome. But didn't read the part in the book where it suggests frying them, so just added them to my meal boiled. It was kinda like getting a mouthful of chewy gunk. Will try something differant next time. Also I have the fetticine which are a wider one, i think the ramen noodle size ones might be more palatable.

They can either be so bad or great. You can learn to make them great. I know I had a hard time with them at first but kept experimenting and now am in love.

Ugh. I am a huge texture person when it comes to my food. I gagged down the "ramen" noodles for lunch. I fried them but they were still chewy. I have another package so I will try it again but not holding out hope. So sad because I love real ramen noodles especially when I do not feel well.

Texture person here also. I think the longer you fry them the better they are. When I thought they were done I just leave them in longer. Good luck ladies. Although the Dreamfields are good and cheap I like the FP I get from these!

On another website, one woman wrote that she cannot tolerate them unless she boils them for ten minutes first. (I haven't tried them yet, so I cannot comment on this method).

They will always be a little chewy. I found that odd at first but now love the texture and find Dreamfields seem sort of mushy to me in comparison.
