i know, my poor kids keep wanting them, they say they like them better than there own. hilarious how that works. my 5 year old said to me today, "i want to do the plan" i said you are, just constant crossover good thing we made their granola along with serene's yesterday or i wouldn't have even gotten a second bowl.

Wouldn't the water lower the protein content? If you had other protein source, then it wouldn't matter, though.

It's fine if the protein is lowered a little bit if budget is an issue, remember most people put extra Greek yogurt on their pancakes so there is plenty of protein in this recipe, with or without water.

Just tried these today and amazing. I ate 3 for breakfast with yogurt and raspberries. It was very hard to eat 3 I think in the future 2 will be plenty for breakfast. And yes my kids were very jealous. I have one who keeps telling me me wants to be a Trim and Healthy Kid if it means eating what I am eating. LOL
My question is I was looking ahead and isn't the Trim Healthy Pan "Bread" the same recipe?

Yes, it is the same recipe without sweetener and vanilla. Makes it a very easy recipe to remember

I don't know where to post this. I like theses cute and smart things our children say about being a THM. The other day I was reading the new posts and my oldest dd 11 1/2 y/o was trying to get my attention. She turned to her brother and said "she's trimming her mind"! Lol.

Maybe I am odd but I do not like the pancakes fresh- it is a texture issue. I ate one and froze the rest thinking at least they would be in there if I was desperate. Well I was desperate one night- leftover night. I toasted some and topped with some greek yogurt and fruit hoping to mask the mushy limpness of the pancake. Loved how the toaster made them crisp and they seemed even sweeter. I now make them to freeze and toast. Thought I would share in case anyone else had an issue with them.

My hubby is a syrup devotee. He was not open to the idea of pancakes with anything BUT syrup, so I told him that he was having peaches & cream "crepes" for breakfast. He liked them!
