Bryony: Basically all recipes Steffanie. I have so many I would like use. :) Are almond flour and oat flour and/or oat fiber interchangeable with coconut flour? Dec 19, 2014 16:01:07 GMT -5
steffanie3: Not really, coconut flour is quite different as it absorbs lots of liquid and works best with plenty of eggs. I tend to like it mixed with other flours. Dec 20, 2014 2:15:49 GMT -5 *
kristaflrealtor: Can I drink coffee with unsweetened almond milk at any time of the day, or just with meals? I am confused. Jan 4, 2015 11:13:00 GMT -5
steffanie3: A splash of unsweetened almond milk in your coffee should be ok as a sipper :) Jan 5, 2015 19:19:30 GMT -5 *
trishylalala: I'm super new and have been trying to follow the plan since Monday 1/5/2015. I have read alot of the book, but I wanted to start so I jumped in! I have the THM sweet mix but I tried MM receipe and I can't get it sweet with out being bitter? ideas? Jan 9, 2015 1:22:39 GMT -5
lizs: Hi I am trying to figure out how i can still use my favourit protein shake (vega sport), it has 4,5g carbs, i usually drink it with coconut milk and seeds and berries so i thought it would be an S meal but then realized coconut milk has 6g carbs as well:-( Jan 9, 2015 18:47:36 GMT -5
steffanie3: Welcome ladies :) Sometimes ladies miss the shoutbox and but still see the posts above (just a hint :) ). trishylalala sometimes that can be tricky, have you tried the range in the book yet? Jan 10, 2015 12:05:20 GMT -5
steffanie3: lizs if you can post above the ingredients in a thread I can see if it can work. There is great info in the Pearl and Serene chats area about why they recommend a whey isolate that would be good to read :) Jan 10, 2015 12:07:09 GMT -5
steffanie3: A super handy feature for finding things in the forums is within an area there is a search on the upper right and if you just start typing what you are looking forward (protein) all the posts with it in the title will automatically start coming up :) Jan 10, 2015 12:08:15 GMT -5
lpayne: Would Van's blueberry waffles be a E selection? [br]What plan do Roma tomatoes fall in? ;) Jan 13, 2015 15:18:51 GMT -5
steffanie3: What are the Van's blueberry waffle ingredients? Jan 13, 2015 21:50:14 GMT -5
steffanie3: Roma tomatoes are FP in moderation :) Be a bit more cautious in S and FP enjoy freely in E. Jan 13, 2015 21:50:59 GMT -5
lpayne: here are ingredients for vans blueberry waffles. Water, Van's Gluten Free Mix (Brown Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Rice Flour, Soy Flour), non-GMO Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Cane Sugar, Baking Powder (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Baking Soda, Rice Flour, Mono Jan 14, 2015 10:55:14 GMT -5
lpayne: The nutritional content is 2 waffles- Fat 6 grams, carbs 35 grams, 1g fiber, sugar 3 g, protein 2 g. I ate one waffles and 3 eggwhites cooked in coconut oil. Would that work for E breakfast? Jan 14, 2015 11:02:48 GMT -5
steffanie3: Sorry lpayne, the ingredients are not on plan with the rice flour, potato starch, sugar. Have you tried the book pancakes? I think they are great :) Jan 15, 2015 20:39:38 GMT -5
jostenger: Why do we peel the lemons in the Singing Canary? Jan 18, 2015 15:20:04 GMT -5
steffanie3: You don't have to, in my experience it is way too much oil out of the peel for the drink for my tastes :) Might depend on the lemons as well, some might tend to be more bitter than others. I do zest most of mind to use the zest in other things. Jan 19, 2015 2:35:24 GMT -5
krisnj: Good Morning! I am a beginner with THM. For breakfast today, I made the zucchini fritter with 1 tsp. coconut oil and had 1/2 c. of RF cottage cheese. Does that qualify as an S breakfast? Jan 23, 2015 8:29:44 GMT -5
krisnj: New to forums! I probably should have posted my question above on a message board :) Jan 23, 2015 8:35:28 GMT -5
steffanie3: The Zucchini are S with whole egg, so yes :) Welcome :) Jan 24, 2015 12:20:59 GMT -5
